CSS Sponsors the Leisure Access Forum

The Leisure Access Forum features a discussion with Dr. Wendy Frisby from the University of British Columbia, Kat Cureton a former graduate student who wrote a report that will be discussed during the forum, Lynn Horst from Vancouver Coastal Health, and an expert panel of community members.

Please attend if you are interested in the following questions:

  • Do you work with individuals and families who need recreation services but can’t afford the user fees?
  • Would you like to learn how to help them get their own Leisure Access Card (LAC) so that they can use basic recreation services at Vancouver Park Board facilities at no cost or minimal cost?
  • Do you have community members who would like to come and share their experiences about the LAC program?

The Leisure Access Forum is sponsored by Vancouver Coastal Health, Red Fox, the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation, and the UBC Centre for Sport and Sustainability.
