The Vancouver Canucks are looking for 20-40 volunteers to assist with a new recycling initiative they are putting in place.
Date
Interested individuals should be available on March 14th from 5:30 pm to the end of the second intermission (approximately 8:45-9 pm).
Task
Educate fans on using the new tri-stream recycling bins.
Incentives
- Free t-shirt and meal while volunteering
- With luck, you will also have the opportunity to watch the 3rd period of the hockey game
Education component
Students are also free to propose an additional learning component to extend this program. Topics might include: fan awareness/satisfaction surveys around the new bins; recycling rate auditing and performance tracking; assessment of the effectiveness of recycling bin messaging.
