3rd International Sport Business Symposium

Friday February 19, 2010

Host cities make a colossal effort to fulfill requirements to stage the Games and to maximize the economic, social, environmental, political, and structural benefits the Games can offer. This opportunity is linked to risks and challenges during the preparation, operation, and legacy phases for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Thirty Olympic researchers presented their work on these topics in a symposium held at UBC on February 19, 2010.
